Drug Rehab Centre
Aftercare is a key component for any successful drug rehab programme. At The Providence Projects, we understand the importance of individualised aftercare and there is not a one-size-fits-all approach.
We help each client before the completion of their drug treatment programme formulate an on-going aftercare plan. This plan will depend on several factors including the history of the individual, the progress made during the addiction treatment programme, the environment they are moving on to and their engagement in 12 step meetings. Other factors which will play a part in the aftercare plan include the family involvement. As part of a successful aftercare plan, we will look to involve the family as they can often be very important in the on-going success of the individual with the addiction.
The Providence Projects have links with individuals and organisations throughout the country to ensure that whatever your aftercare needs are, a thorough supported plan is put in place to ensure the continuity of care.
Depending on the need of the individual, aftercare packages can range from a one-one counselling session to an intensive day programme. The key is that the aftercare programme is right for you. At The Providence Projects, we have nearly 20 years’ experience and a multitude of relationships with other quality treatment providers throughout the UK to ensure you get the right aftercare programme.
In the centre itself, we run a group each morning and a meeting on a Sunday which is open to all Providence graduates forever. We see ourselves as one big family and we are here for our clients as long as they need us.
In September last year, we held a reunion for ex-clients at The Bournemouth International Centre where between three and four hundred ex-clients attended. This again demonstrated the life-long connection formed with our centre.
