Prior to entering our rehab facility, it is important that you undergo full assessment to ensure that The Providence Projects is the right place for you and also gives us a chance to get a complete picture of your situation and to be sure that we are the best place to treat you.
The assessment process is quite straight forward and your assessment will take no more than one hour.
If possible, we would like you come to our facility in Bournemouth to be assessed as it is always better to meet face to face and to give you the opportunity to look around our facilities, meet other residents and most importantly to get a feel for the centre.
In your assessment, we will ask you a variety of questions; the majority of the questions will be about your family history, your current situation, your mental and physical health, your gambling, your drinking and most importantly what you want from a rehab programme.
Once your assessment has been completed, it will be reviewed by the management team at The Providence Projects and The Providence Surgery to check that we are able to meet your needs and you can expect a decision within 24 hours. We also ask that you use this time to decide for sure that you want to enrol into the rehab programme.
There are two possible outcomes for any assessment and we will call you as soon as we have the definitive answer. If you have been accepted and want to enrol into the rehab programme our admissions manager will call you to inform you of the decision and discuss the next steps with you. We can generally arrange admission at very short notice or at a time which is convenient for you. If, for any reason, we are unable to accept you, we will give you a full explanation as to why we are not able to admit you into the rehab programme and will suggest appropriate alternatives.
Arranging assessment is very simple and can be conducted a time to suit you.
