West Wing star, Rob Lowe received the Spirit of Sobriety award in 2015 to celebrate 25 clean years. Receiving the award, he stated “Being in recovery has given me everything of value that I have in my life”. Rob started his sober live after receiving support in an alcohol rehab back in 1990, and claims his stay was a life-changing experience.
Bradley Cooper has been sober since the age of 29, after struggling with alcohol and painkiller addiction. He has claimed that quitting alcohol saved his acting career and he wouldn’t be where he is today without becoming sober.
Kat Von D
Celebrity tattoo artist, Kat Von D recently celebrated her 10-year sobriety milestone. She spoke openly on the Rosie O’Donnell show back in2012, explaining how her drinking was affecting her tattoo talents.
Batman actor Ben Affleck has had long-term battle with alcohol addiction. Affleck has sought support from alcohol rehabs twice and continues with his alcohol addiction treatment. He even attended the 2017 Oscars with his sober coach!
Daniel developed an “unhealthy” drinking problem whilst filming the Harry Potter movies. He quit drinking after shooting the final film. Despite a brief relapse, the actor has now been living happily sober for three years.
