NHS, Free or Funded Rehab

Unfortunately there is no such thing as ‘free rehab’.  However, in certain instances you may be fortunate enough to secure detox and rehab funding through your local authority.

Over recent years, this has become more and more difficult to access as a result of both funding cuts and changes in strategy.  However, depending on whereabouts in the UK you live, there may still be a possibility of accessing funding for rehab.

Every county, area or local authority will have its own policies about rehab funding and some areas do not offer rehab funding at all.  If you are fortunate to have a local drug or alcohol team who are prepared to support you with funding for rehab, please feel free to give us a call to find out more about the programme at The Providence Projects.

Once funding has been agreed for detox and rehab, whether that be through your local authority or if indeed you are self-funded, The Providence Projects are able to offer comprehensive assessment either via telephone or face to face.  This enables us to be sure we are the right place for you and gives you an opportunity to ask any further questions about our programme and facility should you be accepted.

If you would like to find out more about the funding options for a rehab programme whether that be through your local authority or to find out about self-funded options, our admissions team are always available to talk you through the process.
